Interesting news
indeed, but this is surprising to see supply
ships leaving Argazad in direction of the East.
First possibility: these ships are supplying the
watch towers on the Darklands coasts. Second
possibility: they are going to supply a secret
base in Kalte. We are still not sure of which
solution is the right one, but know that
Operation Meat Loaf (codename of the operation
that will send Kai Lords to destroy the Giant
Ironclad) will be launch in a near future.
Keep faith.

are going to move this in the LWRPGoL forum in
the near future. DV is working on that.

Praise Ishir for
the fast reply. First and foremost, it seems my
message did not reach you in whole (left out one
small detail in previous post, sorry). The
supply ships are coming from the East laden with
cargo and return empty and not sailing to the
East with supplies.
Indeed, Admiral that
those are the possibilities it would seem. But
the sudden increase in activities and heavily
escorted convoy of late together with the news
of a super ironclad being built would seem far
to probable to be a coincidence. Aye, their
sailing from the East would be very suprising
and as far as the enemy is concerned, surprises
from them are something I'm not fond of.
Furthermore, they have begun transporting
troops, large number of them. If I may say so, I
think it would be a a wise decision and of our
interest that we'd be a step ahead of them,
Admiral.
Perhaps this warrants a further
investigation to fully confirm that these two
situations are not related all together. Make
haste we must but till then, the Sea Eagle will
maintain her location and resume patrol,
awaiting further orders.
Edit : How do
you come up with the name Operation Meat Loaf?
Very interesting. Sorry if my part of the story seems
kinda out of place or something like that. Need
some working on it cos been away from LW for
more than a decade....especially all these
geographical details.

I have read the current
incoming reports First Mate DCade. I'm glad
the crew is following your lead during my
absence. It seems more time to spy those
naval supply ships are in order till the
next action can be decided upon. Although i'm am
still shakened by my loss, my first duty is
to Sommerlund and my personnel affairs
second. To the defense of my homeland. I
have sworn an oath upon taking up the
responsibility of wearing this Kai Cloak and
in command of Kai Warship.
If the
admiral approves I shall join the Sea Eagle out
on patrol. The third warship remains moored
at home port. I shall leave at once pending
Admiral BlackCat approves.
Glad to see that you
are back. Unfortunately for you, the Sea Eagle is
at sea for the moment, so you won't have the
chance to board it for now. But, if you want,
you can take the command of the new warship.
We'll probably need this ship in an upcoming
naval battle.

Out of
character: Operation Meat Loaf was a secret
operation made by the allies in WWII in
preparation for Operation Overlord. For
Operation Meat Loaf, the allies took the death
body of a German soldier, dressed him as a
Captain of the Royal Fleet and put "secret
plans" of an invasion of France on him. Then,
they droped the body near Spain where Franco's
army took the corpse and gave it back to the UK,
not before sending the plans to Berlin. Hitler
was then preparing for an invasion of France far
away from Normandy. To give more reality to this
fake menace, the Allies placed balloons in shape
of tanks and planes on the coasts that was
facing the supposed place of the assault. Nazi's
spy planes where fooled by this illusion. This
explains in part why Hitler was believing that
the assault on D-Day wasn't the real invasion
but just a diversion.

Welcome back Captain. Thank the Gods you
have returned. I am happy to report that the
crew and ship are in good spirit and in good
condition although quite restless and on high
alert. Your returning presence here only serves
to strengthen their determination and bolster
their courage. The Sea Eagle is yours to command
once again.
As you have read, Captain,
the activities of the enemy that we have been
observing raised many eyebrows and questions.
What are they doing? What are the purpose of
those supplies? Armies for what? Why the sudden
change? Does it have any connection with the
building of the ironclad? We have maintained
monitoring till now and thus far, we have
counted more than 50 supply ships and troop
transports. Something is abrewing and we can
only speculate Captain.
As for the Sea
Eagle, she is ready for you to take the helm and
welcome back.
Just asking, isn't the Sentinel
supposed to send Kai Lords to remove the Giak
patrols and comb the beach while another
infiltrate Argazad? What is their status? And
lastly, what is the status and test results of
Red Storm if any?
Just to inform
everyone, my part of the story was based of this

Admiral,
Mission
proceeded as planned. Left the warships at Point
Vashna and proceeded along the Gulf of Helenag
to Argazad. We launched the three rowboats off
shore from the port. The first two reported
increased Giak patrolling along the shores near
Argazad, as well as a Drakkarim patrol.
The third rowboat, containing two Kai
Lords, crept into the port under the cover of
darkness. Despite arriving at night they were
forced to use their Invisibility to remain
undetected, as there was an unusual quantity of
ships in the harbour. Eventually they reached
the heart of the harbour, where they could just
make out a massive ship, seemingly still being
built. However, it was impossible to approach as
the area around it was crowded with small boats
carrying the Giaks that worked on it. The Kai
were forced to return to the Sentinel to
avoid being noticed. They also reported that
Argazad had a substantial fleet protecting it,
but were unable to give any exact details.
We returned home with no casualties. I
would recommend further missions to capture, or
at least sabotage, the great iron ship.
Unfortunately the Kai fleet does not currently
have enough ships to launch a full attack on the
port.
Using smaller ships such as the
Sentinel
we can also reach Aarnak, and from Lencia we
could enter the Hellswamp to set up a scouting
post to spy on the nearby Drakkarim strongholds.
Glad to see that you
are back. Unfortunately for you, the Sea Eagle is

With all due respect
Admiral and if I may bluntly say so, the Sea
Eagle was under Captain Orson's command before
he left and thus it should only be right if he
assumes command of it when he returns. Even
though, we are at sea right now, hopefully
another smaller vessel can be arranged to ferry
him to the Sea Eagle. Or maybe the third
warship? However, I do see your point in
launching the third ship.
Another point
I would like to mention, have all ships,
captains and Kai Lords been briefed/informed of
their part and role in Operation Meat Loaf?

Captain Orson Kai Warship: Wave
Dancer
We set out during the
night from home port, if the wind is blowing
the sails hard I should reach your postion
in about a day and a half. I'm dubbing the
ship: Wave Dancer, a suprising fast vessel for a
warship till the mission is complete and a
proper name can be set for the ship.
There wil be no change in command, you
are the
captain of The Sea Eagle. The crew will look
to you for guidence and leadership, it would
be a loss of morale and morale is needed for the
coming time ahead captain. The decision can
be set once we are back in home waters and
port.
Do what needs to be done to watch
over your ship and crew. Keep up the
vigilance Captain DCade.
Please continue
to send any information to Admiral Black Cat.
Since leaving port I have not received
any updates regarding "Red Storm". I'm sure
the admiral will inform us when the time is
right.

First of all, I would
like to congratulate Captain Orson for his new
warship, the Wave Dancer.
He will join the Sea Eagle in
the Kaltersee to give his support to the Sentinel.
Red Storm was the codename of the
project for creating a special weapon that would
make the destruction of the ironclads at sea a
lot easier. I can now say that the first tests
were made, but the results weren't conclusive.
The BotCS and the ingeneers of Bor will have to
work on it again, but they are close to succeed.
Anyway, we will need this weapon only if a real
war starts at sea between our fleet and the
ironclads. If Operation Meat Loaf is a success,
the risk of a naval war will be greatly
diminished.
Speaking of Operation Meat
Loaf, I would like to know if Captain Sky Dragon
sent the Kai Lords to destroy the Giant
Ironclad? If so, we'll need to wait for his
return if he succeeds or a week in the case that
he is captured before new orders can be given.
Gentlemen, I'll pray Kai and Ishir for
the success of Operation Meat Loaf.
Fr :
Firstmate DCade, Acting Captain Kai Warship

We will be ready
to meet up with you, Captain, in one and a half
days time, Ishir willing. Be wary when
approaching our location as there are a number
of Drakkarim patrol ships in the area.
Very well Captain. I will continue my
command till further orders are given. Regarding
"Red Storm", indeed I'm sure our wise Admiral
will inform us of any latest developments if
need be, however to know we have a weapon
effective against the infernal construction
should our worst fears realized, only serves to
further raise the crews' spirit and resolve in
this dire time of need.
Till then,
awaiting your arrival.
To : Admiral Black Cat
and all Captains
Fr : Firstmate DCade,
Acting Captain Kai Warship : The Sea
Eagle
The news of Captain Orson's
return with command of the new ship brought
cheers to the crew and that warms my heart and
proud to be on board this ship.
With
"Red Storm" nearing succesful completion, it
would be a most welcomed arsenal to the Fleet's
arsenal should we be forced to engaged them
directly. To avoid that and the loss of many
lives, our hopes fall on the Kai Lords carrying
out Operation Meat Loaf under the instruction of
Captain Sky Dragon.
And now for the
report based on our observation. On the last
transport ship that arrived in port last night,
it seems that someone important of high level
was on board. It was heavily escorted compared
to all the previous ships. We were unable to
confirm this as we could not get a closer look
due to all the patrol ships around and I would
not dare risk the Sea Eagle being spotted.
However, I have sent a message to Captain Sky
Dragon to inform the Kai Lords to be on the
look-out for this figure while carrying out
Operation Meat Loaf. Have yet to receive a reply
from him since then. May Kai watch over
him....
I
have reached the rendezvous point ahead of
schedule due to the fine wind and excellent
crew manning the Wave Dancer. Since you have
been at station monitoring the naval movements
of the ememy, I will defer tactics and
strategy to you pending any new orders from
Admiral Black Cat.
As of today, we have
not received any communications from the Kai
Lords dispatched to destroy the ememy super
ironclad. This is grave news. It has been
too long since the last contact with them.
And with the latest news concerning this
important guest visiting might mean that
emeny's plans are progressing fast than we
would like it too.
The ship and crew
of the Wave Dancer await your consul and orders!
Well met, Captain. I have
been informed of my men that I have posted to
watch out for your approach and it lightens my
heart that your voyage was without incident.
Our current location should keep us
hidden and out of sight range from the enemy
while we plan our next course of action.
As of now, I have tried contacting with
the Kai Lords and Capt. Sky Dragon but were
unable to gain a response from them. The crew of
the Sentinel has informed me that they are still
anchored at their current location and also
tried to contact their Captain but failed it
seems. We would need to reestablish
communication with them as soon as possible to
determine the status of this immediate threat.
If we are to enage the enemy, I'd rather do it
now when the ironclad is still in port than in
the open seas or even our homeland.
Regarding this mysterious figure, I have
sensed a great evil aura eversince his arrival
and have been restless since. Don't you feel it
as well Captain? This really bothers me though I
have taken care not to let it show, for fear it
would affect the crew. I have taken the liberty
to lay out our available options and would need
further discussion with you, though the
acknowledgement from our Admiral is needed. Too
much is at stake here to let anything go wrong,
no matter how small the risk is.
